CE
A European Union market certification that focuses only on the essential safety requirements ensuring that products do not endanger the safety of people, animals, or goods. Harmonized directives specify the main requirements, while detailed technical requirements are covered by relevant standards.
UL
The American product safety certification industry standard established by Underwriters Laboratories (UL). Helps protect people from electric shock, fire, and physical injury.
CQC
The China Quality Certification Centre. Products bearing the CQC mark indicate compliance with relevant certification requirements for quality, safety, performance, electromagnetic compatibility, and other standards.
REACH
Stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. It is an EU regulation for the preventive management of all chemicals entering the European Union market.
ROHS
RoHS environmental certification stands for the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive. It applies to all 27 EU member states and covers electronic and electrical equipment manufactured within or imported into the EU. The directive restricts the content of six types of hazardous substances, including lead, mercury, and cadmium.
UKCA
Stands for UK Conformity Assessed. It is a legal requirement for products placed on the Great Britain market, including England, Wales, and Scotland. It applies to most products that previously required the CE mark in that market.
